OBJECTIVE:
Improving the natural environment of the Kome Area through
planting of shade trees, ornamental trees and trees for
fuel wood.
TARGET
COMMUNITIES IN KOME AREA

ACTIVITIES:
1. Review tree planting program of RUSO and make recommendations
2. Plan programme for the next two years · Meet with Unit
Committee Chairmen to review program and discuss future
program · Meet with District Forestry Officer · Identify
potential areas for tree planting · Identify suitable species
for nursery · Identify resource needs · Undertake nursery
· Undertake tree planting in communities. PROGRAM ON-GOING
