Benefits of Training
- Prepare for CompTIA A+ certification. CompTIA A+ is an
industry wide certification designed to tell employers that an
applicant has basic PC management and troubleshooting skills.
- Internship opportunity. Students participating in the A+
certification prep program are eligible for the IC internship
program. This paid internship program even more experience
working with computers in more advanced situations.
- Create opportunity for others. As part of your training, you
will refurbish second-hand computers for shipment to
non-profits, schools and other organizations in developing
countries.

AND HELP OTHERS...
Free instructor-led 8 week training prepares students for the CompTIA
A+ exam.
InterConnection offers free classroom and lab
based training for people who want to prepare for the CompTIA A+
certification test and help refurbish computers for nonprofits and
underserved communities. CompTIA A+ is an
industry wide certification designed to tell employers that an
applicant has basic PC management and troubleshooting skills. The course last eight weeks and class meets Monday through Wednesday from 12 noon until 5:30pm.
Space is limited and applicants are selected on their interest in
furthering their technology skills and their ability to support the
refurbishing program.
Additional courses and an expanded schedule will be available soon.
STEP ONE: Review Qualifications
Qualifications
- •Must have a commitment to pass the CompTIA A+ certification
within a year of completion of the course.* (*Various locations
can be found in the Puget Sound area. Please see
comptia.org for the
location nearest you.
- Must be at least 18-years-old.
- Have the ability to work independently and lift computers
(approximately 30 lbs).
- Must be a Washington State resident.
- We reserve the right to select trainees based on their
ability to learn and support the program.
STEP TWO: Fill out the application
To start, you must fill out and submit the application form below.
Our student coordinator will review your application and let you
know if we can accept you into the program. Unfortunately, we don't
have the resources to accept all applicants. You will be notified
within 5 business days of application deadline if you have been
accepted.
Due to lack of resources the training
