Rebecca Yoo
Ann Arbor, Michigan

I am currently a Masters student at the University of Michigan School of Information studying Human-Computer Interaction. My background is actually in biological anthropology and web design.   I have always enjoyed volunteering and designing web pages, so being a virtual volunteer with InterConnection was the perfect opportunity!

I have never worked with such organized people.  All the materials were given to me right away.  I was free with the design of the page and I got good feedback about the finished product.

I thoroughly enjoy working on the projects that Interconnection matches me with. The freedom in the design process is like a breath of fresh air. Thanks InterConnection!

WILLIAM DODSON
Bowie, Maryland

I began my career as a Graphic Artist. I picked up web design to compliment my design skills. I have been designing free web pages since I picked up HTML back in 1993. It seemed to be a logical step for me to reach out and look for other ways to help people get their ideas online.  Interconnection does great things through it's use of Virtual Volunteers.

Currently I am living in Washington DC and work for the World Bank Group. I am a native Korean and have been living in DC for almost 8 years.  I have over 10 years experience in computer graphics. I am skilled at applying graphic design solutions to multi-dimensional environments in a way that is visually interesting, technically functional, well-organized and delivers a coherent message.

Virtual Volunteering is great for me because I hate to drive and all the other drivers on the road hate to see me driving I am sure. I also like the opportunity to offer my services to help developing countries like mine.
